Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you use littleclassroomtools.com. In short: there are no accounts, the tools do not use your microphone, what you save stays on your device, and analytics run only if you accept them.
Who we are
Little Classroom Tools (littleclassroomtools.com) is an independent educational website. For any privacy question, use the contact form.
What information is used
- Class lists, scores and settings. The name picker, group maker, hall pass, scoreboard, visual schedule and clock practice save things such as class lists, team scores, the day’s hall-pass log, your chosen level and your board in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your own device. We cannot see them and they are never uploaded. Please use first names or initials.
- Analytics. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see aggregate use of the site. See the cookie policy.
- Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your email address and message through our form provider, Formspree, and use them only to reply.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
Legal basis (UK GDPR)
Analytics cookies are used only with your consent. Hosting and security processing relies on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Replying to messages relies on our legitimate interest in answering you.
Advertising
We may display advertising in future to keep the site free. If we do, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, and this will be controlled through the cookie banner. We will update this page before ads are added.
Children
These tools are used by teachers, often on a classroom display. They have no accounts and do not ask for personal details. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Other sites
We link to our sister sites, including lessonkind.com, noisemeterforclass.com and notereadingpractice.com, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Contact us through the contact form.
Retention
Messages are kept only as long as needed to reply. Analytics data is held under Google’s standard retention settings for the site.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
